Amy Perkins (Dental Assistant)

Amy Perkins is pleased to say that she has completed her first year as a dental assistant for Dr. Bryant. Having received certification in Dental Assisting, she takes pride in her training and fully believes in taking care of patients and putting them at ease. Amy says that going to work at the office of Dr. Bryant each day is no burden because she loves the staff. "It is a caring atmosphere and everyone is very professional and knowledgeable."

When away from the office Amy simply values spending time with her friends, family, and dog Buddy. She aspires to go further in the dental field by becoming a dental hygienist and wants you to keep in mind that flossing is just as important as brushing!

Britney Scott (Dental Assistant)

Britney Scott is the newest addition to the Bryant team. A good fit for the office, Britney is well trained with 2 years at Calhoun for Dental assisting, 8 months of on-site training, and a completion of 400 clinical hours. She focuses on interacting with and listening to her patients. In addition to her interaction with patients, Britney loves her job because of the interaction with the staff as well. In fact, she chose the Bryant team because she loves the staff, the overall environment, and she was impressed with the cleanliness of the office. When she's not working she likes to spend time with her mate, Jonathan Speegle, as well as other friends and family. Britney looks forward to continuing education in the dental field, learning new technology, and possibly becoming a hygienist.

Britney encourages her patients not to neglect preventative maintenance. It is cheaper than dental expenses you may incur from not keeping your regularly scheduled appointments!

Robin King (Dental Assistant)

Robin King has been a dental assistant at the office of Dr. Bryant for 3 years. She has an AAS degree in Dental Assisting as well as ortho experience. Robin focuses a great deal on her patients and loves interacting with them (she's a talker!), but doesn't at all forget the importance of God, family, and friends. In fact she is a member at Westmeade Baptist Church and has a family of her own. "I love spending time with my husband Aaron and four year old daughter Cadence", Robin says. The love in Robin's heart moves her to hope to eventually adopt a child from China.

Robin's words of wisdom: "Flossing is not about getting food out from between your teeth. It is about healthy gums. You've got to have a healthy foundation!" Spoken from a person who is very passionate about people and teeth!

Deborah Kaye Suter (Dental Hygienist) 

Deborah Kaye Suter has been a practicing dental hygienist for eighteen years and enjoys keeping up to date with the advancing field of dentistry. "I strive to be the best hygienist I can be," Deborah enthuses. Her favorite aspect of her job is assisting her patients to achieve and maintain good oral health. When not brightening your smile, she and husband Jimmy enjoy time with their son Jason, good friends, and gardening.

Joann Newman (Dental Hygienist)

Joann Newman has been a practicing Dental Hygienist for thirty-two years. She has special training in periodontics, brushing and flossing technique, and is an excellent instructor in good dental health. "I love that we can offer a variety of options to our patients, but my main focus is always on good periodontal health." Away from the office Joann, her husband Robert, and Wiley the cat enjoy walking and trips to the beach.

Karen Renfroe (Financial Coordinator)

Karen Renfroe is very much experienced as she has an accounting degree from the University of North Alabama and has been in the financial field for 22 years. She believes in assisting patients by being prompt and accurate in filing of insurance. Karen works for the patient by making sure they are well informed of all financial options so that they can receive the treatment they need. As the rest of the staff, she enjoys her job due to the atmosphere of the office - warm and caring.

Karen spends a lot of time with family - husband, Rodney, and kids, Hailey, Jared, Sarah, & Catie. Their past time includes a lot of hours spent at the ball field as well as working on projects around the house. Karen stresses to her family as well as patients she has come to love that routine cleanings and exams are critical. "You should always take care of problems while they are small, before they become painful and costly."

Denice Carter (Scheduling Coordinator)

Denice Carter is not at all a stranger to dental offices, as she has 25 years of experience. She works hard at gaining the trust of patients and making sure their needs are taken care of. Denice loves getting to know patients and makes sure she maintains a good professional relationship with them.

While she enjoys her job and time spent at the office, Denice still looks forward to time away from the office. She cherishes spending time with her husband, Dale, and son, Chad, as well as other family members and friends. She also values getting involved with any church related outreach. Extending a helping hand in both the community and the office, Denice says "always make the patient smile!"
